I am clearly a desert lover and have lived in the West/Southwest since the early '80s. Having said that, I still like the beauty of fresh snow reminiscent of my childhood in the Midwest. Waking up to fresh "pure white" powder was always a good reason to go out and play - and if there was enough of it, maybe we even got a snow day home from school! See if you can find the cardinal perched on one of the branches...
