When I am not busy working in the studio I like to spend time outdoors hiking. The trails in the McDowell Mountains near my Scottsdale home are a favorite of mine. Pinnacle Peak is one of the most iconic and recognizable rock formations and this painting is from the area surrounding that popular hiking spot.
